I've just gotten to the second book in the Wheel of Time series from Robert Jordan, so naturally I couldn't help myself when a photo op came by yesterday to do something Aes Sedai themed. Considering how long it's been since Eye of the World first hit store shelves, I can understand why the desire for anyone to post fan art now-a-days has waned. I was very excited to add some fresh tender to an old fire.
I wanted to do a scene that would give the poor lass some fresh air, . . .show some sympathy for those women in general who carry the heaviest of burdens. Even the Seat herself needs to escape the duties of the White tower from time to time. No doubt her Warder is not far off, maybe even in the frame. Guarding her, hidden by the signature, shifting cloak of his kind.

My camera c'est an Olympus SP-500UZ
the tower = a few minutes in photoshop
The whole shoot cam out rather nice. A few more with a similiar theme may pop up in the near future.
when Wot was real btw i would respect every Aes Sedai even more by now! i think i would end up screeming and shouting when i noticed myselve stuck within a thorn bush filled with deadly spiders >.< or even when that bush is a tree or just ground... oh my god!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The onl;y nitpick I'd have is that the dress looks like a novice dress, not something the Amyrlin would wear.
Keep in mind that she's trying to escape the tower for a break. Any Amyrlin would be wise enough to not have any qualms over using disguise.
(mumble) or it was the best dress available at the time
